Conceal Carry in 34+ states anyone?

[New update 5.27.2012] on how to add the state of Arizona and pick up 3 more states coming soon, i should have my AZ in a few weeks.

How would you like to be able to legally conceal carry in over 34 states nationwide? Washington and Oregon residence in the Portland/Vancouver general regions listen up! By correctly obtaining specific out of state permits you can use their reciprocal agreements as well as “general accepted” overlap between states to increase your ability to carry concealed in more locations.

As a concealed handgun permit holder you should really try to ensure that you have a permit to carry in all states that touch your border. For me in Washington I really wanted Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming where I tend to travel a lot…but the more states the merrier right?

Recently I met Larry Raglione at CFP Utah. Larry is a 30+ year police officer and has numerous training certifications and licenses for the BCI, NRA, etc… Larry and his partners are licensed instructors for numerous states to offer the training classes required to get resident and non-resident conceal carry permits in numerous states. Larry travels around and offers these courses out of places like Wholesale Sports, and various locations. He will even do a private training if you and 10 or more friends are interested.

Here’s what I did. I attended Larrys class recently at Wholesale Sports and in a few hours he had not only walked me and 10 others through the required training class but he helped complete all the paperwork, passport photos and fingerprinting so that I can obtain my Florida and Utah non-resident conceal carry permits. Now, I already have Oregon’s and Washingtons but part of the class I was in includes Oregon for Washington residents.

Was it worth it? Absolutely. Not only is Larry an entertaining, well educated and fun instructor, but they provide and help complete all the required paperwork in the states you chose to apply in. This was key for me and well worth the money.

You can visit CFP UTah’s web site at http://www.cfputah.com/ and see where Larry and his partners are next offering classes.

I’ve mailed off my applications and now its the waiting game, but once I receive my permits I will be able to legally carry in all of the states listed below in BLUE.
Pretty cool, why aren’t you doing it?

Carry States

As for Nevada, which I’d like to obtain, they now allow non-resident permits however they require that you attend the required class within the state of Nevada, this prevents people like Larry and folks from offering it as well. Sounds like a good excuse to take a trip to Las Vegas! As for California, just forget it. They are one of the worst as a non-resident just plan on never having CA.
